FLANGE PROTECTOR
Commonly found in industry, acidic products, alkalis and oils with high temperature and pressure, can cause harm and damage to operators and equipment. Early leak detection helps reduce maintenance costs by preventing major failures or serious accidents.
Flange protectors are designed to prevent or reduce the effects of hazardous product leaks that can occur from dripping or jetting..

Areas where flange protectors are indispensable:
- Pipes close to eye level;
- Pipes close to crossing areas and people traffic;
- Loading and unloading areas, including docks and terminals;
- Pump discharge pipes;
- Pipes in confined spaces;
- Transport pipes for flammable products near hot and electronic surfaces.
100% PTFE
- Fabric reinforced with three layers of material;
- Body 100% PTFE;
- sewing and cording 100% PTFE;
- Temperature limits: 260°C water temperature adjustment;
- Leak indicator by pH identifier paper.
STANDARD PTFE
- Fabric reinforced with three layers of material;
- PTFE coated fiberglass body (Also available with transparent inspection window in FEP (PTFE) – Clear PTFE);
- PTFE-coated fiberglass or meta-aramid seams and cords;
- Temperature limits: 232°C water temperature adjustment;
- Fire and tear resistant;
- Leak indicator by pH identifier paper;
- ½ drain option” em PTFE,
POLYPROPYLENE
- Fabric reinforced with three layers of material;
- Polypropylene body (Also available with transparent inspection window in FEP (PTFE) – Clear
Polypropylene); - Polypropylene stitching and cording;
- Temperature limits: 93°C water temperature adjustment;
- Leak indicator by pH identifier paper;
- chemical resistant, UV rays and weather.
POLYETHYLENE
- Fabric reinforced with three layers of material;
- Polyethylene body;
- Polyester stitching and lacing;
- Temperature limits: 76°C water temperature adjustment;
- Leak indicator by pH identifier paper;

STANDARD PVC
- Fabric reinforced with three layers of material;
- Polyvinyl chloride body – PVC (Also available with transparent inspection window in FEP (PTFE) – Clear PVC);
- Polyester stitching and lacing;
- Temperature limits: 76°C water temperature adjustment;
- Leak indicator by pH identifier paper;
- chemical resistant, UV rays and weather;
- Available in yellow colors, red and orange.
METALLIC FLANGE PROTECTORS
Stainless steel flange protectors 304 or 316 excel in highly aggressive and demanding applications, including concentrated chemicals, steam, flammable, high temperature and high pressure services.
They are designed to prevent, contain and control a leak or high pressure spray from flanges, valves and other types of piping connections.
TYPE I
- Made of stainless steel 304 or 316;
- quick lock fastener, lockable and adjustable for easy installation;
- Stainless steel mesh absorbs and dissipates pressurized sprays,
distributing them around the circumference of the flange; - Available for all flange sizes and ratings, including square and oval shaped flanges;
- Available in widths of 2″ and 2 ¾”;
- Optional security lock pin;
- Stainless steel drain plug 304 or 316 (3/8″ or 1/2″).
TYPE II
- Made of stainless steel 304 or 316;
- Overlapped and grooved edges on the sides to prevent side splashes;
- Hose clamp style stainless steel adjustable fastener requires a wrench for attachment;
- Stainless steel spacer rods;
- Available for all flange sizes and ratings;
- Stainless steel drain plug 304 or 316 (3/8″ or 1/2″).
